Young Scots for Independence was formally founded in 1980 under the name Young Scottish Nationalists. Before changing our name to Young Scots for Independence in 1996. With the aim to unite and empower Scotland’s youth in the ongoing campaign for independence. Rooted in values of democracy, solidarity, and justice, we foster a robust community where young voices shape national discourse and inspire lasting change.
